Despite general support for vaccination efforts in Afghanistan, U.N. agencies in Afghanistan remain on edge after Taliban insurgents on Friday attacked the compound of the InternationalOrganization for Migration, a U.N.
"We're getting very worried because people understandably are clamoring to come home and we just don't feel the security situation warrants that, " said Michael Barton of the InternationalOrganization for Migration.
Meanwhile, nearly a quarter of the population is older than 65, while the number of immigrants in the country remains below 2%, according to the InternationalOrganization for Migration.
