Glick 55, came up with the idea for Jinni six years ago after spending 20 years as an engineer at Oracle and Israeli tech company Orca working on building electronicguides for pay TV operators in Europe.
It provides performance, audio visual and graphic capabilities to enable Internet-driven applications, video, personal media, advanced user interfaces and electronic program guides.
They are pushing libraries of on-demand films to save people a trip to the video store, and electronic programme guides to make channel-surfing easier.
Arthur Frommer told the AP news agency that he will publish the guides in both print and electronic form, in addition to operating the Frommer's website.
