Olympic champion swimmer Michelle DeBruin has vigorously protested her innocence over accusations that she has been using drugs to better her performance.
"Companies often hold unnecessary inventories as a safety measure because they really don't have an idea about availability at the supplier's end, " explains Chris DeBruin, Metique's chief operating officer.
The swimmer, who is married to her Dutch coach, Erik DeBruin, stunned the sports world by winning three gold medals and one bronze at the Atlanta Olympic Games in 1996.
