Above all, Chinese employees want good training, as they are acutely aware of the limitations of their educationalsystem and keen to acquire marketable skills.
Malay Singaporeans may still lag behind the Chinese and Indians in educational achievement but, with additional tuition, they have made enormous progress under our system of meritocracy.
