Boice says the van can be outfitted to launch drones and create on-the-go cellphone and satellite signals in the aftermath of a natural disaster or terrorist attack.
It was also alleged that she declined rapidly due to severe understaffing, including multiple nights with no staff to oversee care of 17 dementia residents int he Memory Care Unit where Ms.Boice lived.
The attorney who represented the adult children (the husband also died before the lawsuit started) alleged that the staff at this facility did not have the time or the training to protect Ms. Boice from health and safety hazards.
