The IMS rookie program has three confirmed drivers: AJ Allmendinger (Team Penske), Tristan Vautier (Schmidt Peterson Motorsports) and Carlos Munoz (Andretti Autosport).
The government prosecutor presented the guideline sentence for the 39 year old Allmendinger, 125 years (51 points on the Federal Sentencing Guidelines, which only goes to 43 points).
Allmendinger, and the rest of the drivers who didn't win, will have a chance to bounce back in Sunday's race on the 2.36-mile Belle Isle street course that held up much better than it did last year.
